Not much to post.
I’ve been playing a lot of Battlefield 2142, unlocked all the Engineer’s items, and I’m now working on the individual abilities so I can run faster, jump higher… it’s very fun, and I think I’m better at it then BF2, but I’ll attribute that to the new tools.

We went to Paul’s party on Saturday, it was fun – I played guitar hero for the first time, and Jon and Heather were back from Cali, so it was good to see them. We didn’t stay all that late, Nicole was tired, and I guess I was as well. Sunday ended up being a change in plans. I wanted to go check out a Winery with Sarah and Gerry but I forgot my wallet, and since we had to go back to the house anyhow my responsibility got the better of me and Nicole cleaned the house while I went out food shopping.

It was just as well because we now have food, and still had some fun that night playing Cities & Knights at Chris and Kelly’s. I like Cities and Knights so much better then Settlers. Chris cited the simplicity factor of Settlers but that’s what I don’t like, same as I like the more complicated 2142 over BF2. I need lots of levels so I at least feel like I have a strategy.

I’ve already got my plans laid out for this weekend, so now just to get through the week at work. There’s all sorts of deadlines, DBs that should have been done weeks ago. I’ve got a new project coming up though. More programming in .NET – a lot of fun, but there always seems to be something else that comes up with a higher priority before I get the first project all the way done.

At least 3 Web sites, computer to build for Jamie, all sorts of work on the plate.
You’d think I ought to be able to put down BF for a bit…
