**UPDATE** Bush interferes with FBI raid

I don’t see anything wrong with raiding a congressman’s office.

There should be no precedent protecting these individuals from wrongdoing.
How can they be immune from investigation? If there is just cause, they should be investigated.

However, there should be no “raids” without warrants. If you are truly investigating a problem then there should be no issue. The FBI shouldn’t be able to go in and find $90,000 in someone’s freezer just cause someone ratted them out but there was obviously something fishy going on here. Possibly on both sides. How does the FBI get involved, or are they the only ones with authority over congress vs the local police? It’s a big political thaaaaangue and I say that with disgust (and my tongue hanging out my mouth).

I really hope it wasn’t any kind of a personal vandetta, I’ve lost enough faith in government with these past 6 years… 7? Please let it end!!!
