>As I’m packing up my summer tires to be put on tomorrow, I realized something:

Someone stole my hub key, the little special-shaped socket on my rims to prevent someone from yoinking them!

My car was unlocked for an hour the other day, unarmed as well — I went to go to work and found my door slightly ajar, a few items out of place and the glove-box left open. Nothing had been touched other then the glove-box rifled through. My CDs (all CDRs) were intact, sunglasses still there, nothing missing all-in-all. I didn’t even notice the key was gone, at the time.

I suppose in some bright insight they figured they’d take my key and when I put my good rims on they’d yoink them. Well — I have to get these off somehow. I certainly won’t put the same ones back on, if only because I don’t have the key, let alone knowing someone’s got it.

Dumbass, all you did was cause me aggrevation. Springfield is such a lovely place.

So I suppose the dealership will have to take them off by force tomorrow, I’m sure they can do something… and then I’ll have to buy some better way to keep my rims from running away. .:sigh:.
