>I drove up to my brother’s today after stopping for the night at my Mom’s. She’s got a condo up in VT, in Jericho. It’s about 4 hours north up 91/89. My brother is especially far, 20 minutes north-er. 😉 He lives in Fletcher, right down the street from the house where I lived until I was about 3 or so.

He’s up on the side of a mountain, built his own house, and it runs on solar power and gas. How’s that for “out of the way”?

We settled in, he made some food — and we headed out to try out the trails on the snowmobiles. What started as a 5 minute loop ended up being a two hour jaunt around the local woods and V.A.S.T. trails. I haven’t been snomobiling in a couple years, maybe a good 4 or so. It was a blast – there were so many different trails spewing in all directions. They’d been used a lot, and recently — like snow-highways through the woods, twisting and turning, winding their way up one mountain and down another… amazing =]

We’re going to go grab some food downtown at the local grill, grab a drink or two, maybe play some pool. It’s and early bedtime tonight through — for snowboarding tomorrow.
