>Whats going on? I’m already sleeping all day. I was up at 9:30 but went back to sleep and only just got up about 12. I don’t want to be a slug…
I worked at GAP again last night, took advantage of the “fall line cupon” to buy a sweater and jeans @ $15 ea. Since they’re 49.95 each I was unable to resist. Besides, they only get so many mediums — usually they’ve only got small and XXL left over after the first week they’re out, so I needed to moove quickly. As it was I had to get the green one instead of orange because they didn’t have my size. So I’m doing GREAT at the new job, spending more then I’m earning — just as a job normally is… ha.
I’m addicted to the local sandwich shop – Semolina’s (bread company). They have a stone oven that they cook the bread in, and use all the best ingredients. It’s like 6.50 a sandwich… but I’ll eat the whole thing, no matter how full I get. No matter what — it’s delicious. My friend Laura works there too — though I don’t get a discount. I have an issue with eating as it is, really can’t force myself to eat crap after my Cooscus and Ramen days, I’ve been ruined for life. 😉
Painting is more on it’s way, as is the roommate situation. I feel kinda bad about Kristina’s friend. I had tried to make as objective of a decision as I was able. After talking to another of my friends who’s also a friend of him, I felt a lot better. I was judging on appearance, about all I had to go on. I had a feeling from him, and I’ve learned to trust that feeling. I was also being a hippocrate, as I spent my teenage years trying to get through the fake people by putting on an image that would keep them at a distance. I was still a good person — just didn’t look it, and here I was judging someone on the same basis that I was judged before. If that ain’t a hippocrate, I don’t know what is.
It’s not a permanant thing, he’s mainly trying to get back on his feet, get shit together, and steer clear of future roommates. I don’t blame him, and when I was just by myself it was great, however if there was something wrong I had no one to blame but myself. It made me more concious of how I can be… and at least be aware of it, and to try to “cut it off at the pass”.
I just don’t want no sketchies ’round these parts.
