>I’m going to try and keep track of the things that Phil says that bother me. Tonight we were spouting synonymns for crap/shit, a sort of quick-wit freestyle.
He snuck in Mazda. I laughed it off — but is his intent to hurt?
I’m pretty sure he knows it bothers me that he digs on the car — but on the other hand, he knows the cheapshot: that he doesn’t even have one.
** update * 09/03 ** We talked today, everything is calm. As we were squaring up on the money he owed me he was debating the $80 we were charged for the door. Everyone else paid it, and he’s debating it… I simply told him “it’s non-negotiable” and he stopped. Otherwise he would have gone on and on about how the landlords were crazy, and that was when they were “on us for everything because of Ken”
** update * 09/26 ** I came home and Phil was drunk, him and Rich were enjoying an old repeat of the Man show, he was joking — held the lock shut in the kitchen saying “your key doesn’t work in THIS one” and as I pushed my way in he ran into the other room while saying: “No – there’s a logical explanation for this!” — putting words in my mouth. I didn’t say that, but I knew what he was harping on.
I was so stressed, didn’t know what to do at that time, and it certainly wasn’t the best time to try and attempt it, but had it worked… might have changed everything, and certainly would have made it all quite a bit more interesting.
