The JAWS ladder has the ability to transform into all sorts of useful shapes.

The Air Chair is a hammock-like chair that hangs from the ceiling. It’s quite comfortable, and having somewhere to hang it is the hardest part of justifying its purchase… which is solved by buying the frame which works just as well.

The Soft Tub is a portible spa, complete with all the power jets… not really ‘portible’ but it’s made of heavy duty foam, guaranteed for 5 years (limited), and is quite a bit cheaper and less permanant then a normal fixed spa. (they start at about $3k)

The cool mist lamp gives off an eerie colored glow (it changes color – green to blue to red…) through a mist from normal tap water, and the special mist/light maker. It looked really cool, and I want one!

Northern Routes was an interesting band, a lot of celtic influence. It’s dance music, so you get the toe-tapping and want to hop around. I talked to the guys when I was with my Mom. She’s always looking for more VT people she might know. It turns out one of the guys lives in Fletcher (where I was born) and knows of my brother who still lives there. It was interesting, good music. A few of the guys were complaining they didn’t sell any CDs, but they didn’t take up my offer of 3 CDs for 30 — I wasn’t buying them for less then $10 each as I was getting them for Christmas presents and wanted to get some sort of deal for buying a couple. A stammer from one guy, a sure from another, and “Well, we do 1 for $15, 2 for $35…” from another promted me to not want to buy any. I’m offering to buy a CD so as you said “you’ll have gas money for the ride home” so don’t play it up if you’re not hurting that bad 😉
