>Once Upon a Time in Mexico

An excellent movie to follow Desperado, seeing it first isn’t necessary but you’ll be more in the loop if you have. I’ve just got to say something about Johnny Depp’s character: phenominal. T-shirts, lunchboxes, pork, and taquilla. There are many twists and turns, and nothing turns out as planned except for the most versatille.

It’s an excellent action movie, a few brutal moments left me momentarily shocked, and the action sequences left me wide-eyed and slack-jawed at the perfect timing. As the credits state: Shot, Cut, and Scored by one guy, (if I remembered his name I’d be putting it here) I’d assume it’s the director. One person doing it all should be able to present it exactly as they intend, and it shows.

Yesterday I went to visit friends @ UMass. I hung out in the dorms, caught a movie, and got a taste of the college life. I sure am glad to be home 😉 elevators with beercans on the floor, people everywhere at all times. It was nice durring the day, but it gets to be a circus as the night goes on =]

I must say that the dorms in general, and more specifically the bathrooms are better maintained and more robust (as robust as a college dorm bathroom can be) then Framingham State.

Being something like the 3rd most populated 1/4 mile in the world, and certainly in the states, there are many opportunities for kids of college age. People to meet, things to do, just go outside and you’ll see all the fields filled with people throwing frisbees and just having fun doing whatever. One thing I didn’t see was people studying 😉

I can see how someone would want that kind of adventure when going off to college. It’s harder to stay on top of yourself to actually do your work… but damn it’s gotta be fun for the first few years of being away from the ‘rents.
