>Today has been such a lazy day. It’s been so humid as it finally rained. I helped Dad with the last of the yard sale yesterday, brought the furniture back home too — no idea where I’m actually going to use it… but it’ll look all nice once it’s cleaned up.

I have an issue with the furniture, no… my father — I guess I get my stingyness from him. I had to purchase the furniture off of him, 3 tables and an entertainment center — all solid cherry. It’s very nice, but covered in a coat of grime that is green when wet. I’ve scrubbed and scrubbed but it’s nowhere near done and it needs to be clean before I can use polish. It’s grimy, cracked (I think due to the ride out on the trailer), and it’s been down in the cellar for 2+ years. How much did I pay for this priveledge ? $150 — but I don’t have to pay it all now. Wow. No one else was buying it, and no one would for that much. I’m sure it’s really valuable and all, but that’s a tad out of my price range — I offered $75 for the lot and was corrected on the price by my father.

Now he’ll probably stop talking to me in a year after I haven’t paid him the full ammount. I say this because in family disputes involving my father money is usually the root cause. In example: my half-brother on my Dad’s side “bought” a camping trailer from us. He never paid in full, not sure if he paid at all… and my father never talks to him because of it (and his gypsie background).

Laura and I made quite the feast last night: a chicken, spinach linguine with alfredo sauce, spinache salad, and mashed potatoes — with milkshakes for dessert. I’ve continued to maintain the “stuffed” feeling today, eating whenever I feel bored. I may even have gained a pound or two 😉

Kiwi’s are my favorite fruit, got a ton of them on sale @ .25 ea. I’m so happy! They taste like giant strawberrys to me =] Ice cream sandwiches as well, I like those. Laura got me started yesterday — she kept talking about the meal we were to have, what we’d shop for… and food has remained on my mind for the past two days because of her 😉

I’ve painted coat 1 on half of my room, once the 2nd coat is done I’ll move everything over and do the other side. It looks good, a very light green — complementary to the shade of pink that it’s covering, but that shall not get in the way of it’s complete obliteration! Consumed by green the pink shall be… yesssssssssssssss, consuuuuuuuuumed! MUHHAAHAHAHA!

It’s all nice and peaceful, really changes the room’s atmosphere.

Yeah, so I’ve been a busy unemployed bee. I’ve been doing stuff, kinda.
