All air tools, grinding/sanding discs, hoses, wire… everything for the local hobby welders.
I had a lot of electronics and computer stuff, so there were quite a few people who stopped by.
I sold my radio-controlled monster truck — a Radioshack gem from 5 years ago, some PC games… and some memory to my step-mom. Not a HUGE haul, but it was a nice day and didn’t mind sitting out.
The hard part was moving everything. As I was getting things out of the basement, nostalgia came over me in a tremendous wave. Boxes of books from my years of collecting from school book fairs, with all the scripts from any plays I had done in high school, pictures, stuffed animals, and baby/kid books. I grabbed a few things for eBay, boxed some up to go to mom’s for safe keeping, and threw other stuff away.
We wound up the day about 4 or so, finally finished getting everything put away by 6, and I was on my way home. I met up with la chica for some pool later on, and got to bed relatively early and ended it all with an incredibly good night’s sleep.
