I posted a link a few days ago regarding ‘black boxes’ for cars that record information about the person driving. It has been targeted towards businesses and parents being watchful of their teenage children. One model even included a GPS that would give a position every 5 minutes as well as email you when the driver broke the speed limit. It was kind of scary in itself – but apparently there’s already some black boxes installed in cars for “safety research” that are able to be read by publicly available software (GM/Ford) and are being used in court.
