>Ok, so I really really really wanted to update yesterday — too much to do, and too little internet access. I’m still playing phone tag with the satellite guy. It’s like he’s offended cause he called me the day after he knew I needed someone to come out – I told him he couldn’t come out that day… that I’d have to do it for another — he put off scheduling and said he’d call back. I called him back yesterday, left a message with his wife/secretary, and haven’t heard back since. S’all good, I’m getting reimbursed for this period — and I’m not letting them tell me otherwise!

So anyhow, you probably remember the “girls” from the other night. Well — new info has surfaced:

• they’ve been over every night since
  

• they have another attractive, pleasant friend — Amy, who they brought over on the 2nd night
  

• on the 3rd night all 3 arrived with their boyfriends
  

• said boyfriends very sketchy (and very large)
  

• Amanda has been IM-ing and saying things indicating she would rather not be with her boyfriend
  

• one of said boyfriends is in fact a semi-pro football player?
  

• since they were over — they’ve noticed a similar car driving by slowly (casing?)
  

• the girls (Samantha in particular) are very obsessed w/ $ and bling.bling
  
  (side note, bling bling was just recently added to the Oxford dictionary)
  

• boyfriends, especially large ones, being pissed off by others hanging with their girlfriends is not good
  

• said boyfriends were calculating (made requests that would cause them to be alone in the room for an extended period… looked sketchy upon return)
  

• said boyfriends also guarded — like they’re used to be around untrusting individuals
  

• one was caught peering into his Honda Accord (91/92?) after said questionable request
  

Granted, this is second hand information, but upon recollection the housemates noticed more and more tell-tale signs.

I’m overly suspicious of people that there’s an initial affront to… it’s best to go with instincts, they’re usually right. I won’t go into my past experience — but the 2 times I’ve given the benefit of the doubt in a possibly sketchy situation, I’ve been quite clearly made the fool.

There are 2 possibilities – the girls do this often, they either try to piss off the boyfriends creating jealousy and cementing them into the relationship… or they intend to genuinely leave them for a person or persons at the house.

This will still lead to large boyfriends being very upset, while knowing where they live.

They could also have a sort of plan, casing the joint, and returning to burgle.

(I admit, that’s worst-case scenario — but had I assumed worst case scenario, it would not have happened to me)

So they are also coming to the party on Friday after their show at WNEC — there will be many friends there who will all be watching these people’s every move. If I see anything marginally suspicious — it shall be worth the pining.
