>I just got 2 new CDs: Rammstein – Mutter, and 50 Cent‘s new one. I’m sure you’ve heard a few of his songs on the radio, probably figured it’s just another gangsta wannabe. In a way he’s picked up on Eminem’s style, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. He’s got a similar style, but a flavor all his own. He’s brackish and focused on street-creed… that aside, the whole CD is really good.

I’ve had the new Rammstein in my head since I saw xXx, the movie may have been horrible… but the song and performance in the movie was great. The whole album is filled with intricate electronic beats and melodies, with overdrive guitar and heavy hitting percussion and throaty German vocals. What more could a true metal/industrial fan ask for? It doesn’t get any more industrial then German industrial =]

I’ve also found an uncanny resemblance in the melodies between “Wanksta” and one of the Rammstein tracks… more to come, maybe even an industrial version of Wanksta…
