I was writing someone a quick little note via SMS when I got an idea: cellphone poetry.

It’s short, sweet, truncated for quick entry… and something to do when snake just don’t cut it.

I’d like submissions to start things out, they’ll be posted in a special low bandwidth (text-only, to start) section.

Send anything you get via cell that you’d like to share, for example – I get quotes sent to my phone every day:

Go ahead and truncate, abbreviate… whatever you need to do to make entry and transfer quick and easy. I’m looking for haikus, poetry, notes, observations… anything. I won’t post any identifying information unless specifically requested. Check back for a temporary link to what I’ve got so far, I’ll incorporate it into the site and position it depending on the submissions and feedback I receive. I plan to have WAP links, info, and browseable content readable on-the-go.
