>Busy… an understatement. I’ve been moving, cleaning, sanding, shalacking, and working this whole week. Things at home are tough because I’m always trying to make sure everything’s in order. There’s 3 floors of wood floors to be done, we won’t get to them all but we’re taking care of the major ones like my bedroom, Ken’s bedroom, and maybe an adjacent room or two. The dining / living room are almost done, they just need one more coat of shalack. We have stuff partially moved in, temporarily placed, my cat’s still at home cause I don’t want her near the floors while we’re shalacking and painting. I’ve been staying at the other house, though — so she’s been somewhat neglected 🙁

There’s so much going on, they just laid off a couple more people from our department, the work is piling up and we don’t have enough people to do it. I can grab a bunch, do it out *bam* *bam* *bam* — and there’s 3 more to replace what I finish up. We catch up about by the end of the day — and then it’s tomarrow and there’s 20 more waiting for us. I’m losing faith and I’m losing it in general. I want to scream that we need more people… that they’re not going to keep the people that they value most — but they don’t value us. Sure, we’re there for them to give the work to… oh -they- know how to do it. They don’t know how to show their appreciation… the mythical monatary compensation.

I don’t mind if you’ve laid off my co workers, taken people out of the key timeframes that we need the department staffed at, that we’re expected to pick up the slack no problem… but make me work like a dog — for what seems like a department with a short life span, to do all this out of the blue, with no compensation… it’s enough to drive one mad. Mad I be, and getting more. I can’t relax because everything is inbetween. I don’t even mind the lack of stability — though it would be nice, I justsss.a.s,ajsldkfjasdf…

I know that none of the above makes sense, I don’t feel like re-reading it and correcting it right now, I have to do work.

sons of bitches, this shit is fuck.

that the rest of the people are just giving up, and those that gave their 2 week notice don’t even bother doing anything. Why should they? They’re on vacation for the next two weeks.
