>It’s Saturday morning, 4:30am. I just got back from a generally pleasant evening at “Fuse” — afterhours club here in Springfield.

I danced quite a bit — had a blast. I was there until just about 3:50am when I saw something kind of odd. There was my ex, a security guard for the club (I knew she was working) — probably about 3 weeks after telling me “she needed time to herself” and “…maybe we should just be friends for a while” & “I need to do something for myself, without any help” — leaning back on some young chap, and they were intertwined for a good 5-10 minutes or so. I was upset, not that she had found another guy… but that I told myself “don’t be a schmuck” and against my own better judgement, I believed the things she said. It was like a good stab to the stomach, I left shortly after.

I had probably the most fun I’ve ever had at fuse, tonight. Everything was fabulous, people were cool — there was a lot going on… the music was good (whew!), nothing too exciting, but the DJs were into it, and that made dancing so much easier. It was a Columns of Knowledge party — so that probably has something to do with it. I’m listening to a CD right now that one of the DJs handed out. I’ll post it soon, this guy’s great. =]

I ran around with highlighter on my arms as well, I had a grafitti drawing dude write “Synthetic-X.com” from one arm to interlocking knuckles to the other arm so if I put my fists together, it was a blacklight beacon of .com-ness. I hope the people I showed it to come and visit — and don’t be gotten down by the 1st paragraph — they’re usually a bit more “upbeat” =] Hi to everyone I met this evening — and keep in touch via the discussion board. That and the callendar might help calaborate specific party meetings.
