I can’t believe it, here we have a whole rant on why corn can’t be used, and the situation presents itself in the form of pig dung. Yes, that’s right – turning the sow’s ear into a silk purse… or a sow’s rear into oil first. That’s what these guys have done, a giant oven like contraption that will get 3.6 gallons of crude. Set up some sort of conveyor belt into said oven, and you’ve got a poop-converting oil factory. I don’t know the technicalities of the emmissions released while creating said crude from the porkies but I imagine it just wasn’t economically feasible before. With oil so high, all kinds of alternatives are coming within reach. It’s about equal to diesel right now, but we could at least use it to heat our homes. Bacon, fuel, and they talk to spiders. Pigs are the shit. Ha, shit.
