This song takes on a bit of an odd meaning now that we’re aware of his sexuality:

(and later in the final bars of the song)
I WILL BE YOUR DADDY!

…hmmm, I detect some homosexual undertones, insinuations towards the clergy, and that Mr Michael is longing to be the “father figure” for some lucky young gentleman.

…but that’s just me.
