The original email was sent by the owner of the list apolgizing for the actions of the previous moderator. “The Bill” would no longer be the moderator, and their comments were not to be misconstrued as those of Freecycle Springfield.

Note the Subject, virutally ever posting is spelt this way. WHY?!! Why?!!

I don't desire to get involved in this situation. I don't know what happened, don't care what happened... but any correspondence I'd had with you was nothing but polite. I'm sorry for the situation, but pleast let this be the last that the group hears about this.

I really think we should be focusing on what we're here as a community to do: help eachother. We provide a service to those in need by getting rid of things we might otherwise keep that could do someone else a lot of good.

Please keep this a private issue, I don't want to have to quit the group to avoid unneeded stress from hearing about other people's inability to deal with others in a mature and civilized manner. I'm sorry that "they" did this to you, but please let this be it, for the sake of those just trying to do some good for the community.
