>Rent situation getting more convoluted.

I have 2 messages saved from house mate.

1 right after it happened “I’ll get that money to you, it’s not fair to you”

1 today after I suggested “just give me $150, add that to the security deposit and we’ll call it even to the end of the month.”

Her msg was “I don’t think it’s fair that I should have to pay that $150, $300 in theory (combination of the security plus the 150) twice.”

What bothered me was that:

– she agreed to my face, then called me a little while later (my phone was in the car) to retract

– I called her back a little bit after that and she didn’t answer

– she said exactly opposite of what she said before

I gave very precise reasons in my msg as to why this was not my doing. Things like rent you don’t just leave, unless it’s expected and you know to look for it as previous arrangements have been made. You make sure the person gets it.

So that’s it, we’ll see where it goes from here .:sigh:.
