NBA Draft: 8 Young Men – Watch what happens when 8 young men, straight out of High School are interviewed left and right by a media deluge shouting “money, money, money!” After being drafted they’re “guaranteed to be worth at least 11 million over the next 2 years” and thus draw all this media attention. Did something change? Are they able to go straight from High School now? I’ve never heard of this before, and the media is going nuts about the money these boys will be getting. Where the poor guy might try and talk about how dedicated he was going to be, the interviewer would bring up money again, no matter what the guy said, it was always back to money. It’s exploitation, these guys speak very poorly, spend very foolishly (brand new Range Rover & “What does this new Range Rover represent to you?”), and the media is eating it up — essentially proving their own point: that they’re too young for this.
