Windows 98+ Computer (no mac/linux)

SonicStage software

Recording Software (ex. SoundBlaster Recorder)

iTunes

1. Go to www.connect.com to get the software.

2. Download desired track.

3. Open recording program.

4. Set "recording source" to WAV, MP3, ex. "What U Hear"

5. Hit record, then play on the desired SonicStage track.

6. Once you've got the track recorded, hit stop. You'll find the .WAV file in your recording program's recording folder.

(ex. C:\Program Files\Creative

\SBAudigy\Recorder\Recordings)

7. Open the recordings folder.

8. Open iTunes.

9. Drag and drop the WAV file into your iTunes Library.

10. Make sure the iTunes options are set to create MP3s, not AC4 files.

11. Right click on the file and choose "convert to MP3"

12. Delete the original WAV to save space.

It’s the old “taping the radio” trick with an extra processing step to get it back to MP3. It’s an analog recording of a digital playback and as long as your recording levels aren’t too high (feedback, distortion) you’ll get a near-perfect copy without it ever leaving your computer.
