>I’m not sure what I’m doing right now. I’m still up, can’t sleep. I’m not hot… occasionally hearing the A/C go on upstairs… BAWOOOOOOooooooom… into a steady hum. My futon is getting more and more uncomfortable.

I’m thinking I need a UPS to keep the PC safe in the living room, the power keeps going out when everything’s on and the A/C kicks in, bad for the computer. Everything’s on the same circuit… thinking what I can do to change the setup. From running extension cords, to outfitting with a UPS, my mind is trying to solve this issue and not sleeping.

I had a Mary Kay party at my house today. Not mine, but the new housemate Laura’s.

It was interesting, certainly wasn’t the pushy sales pitch I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised with a very nice woman, very knowledgeable of skin care.

I always thought that putting on makeup simply clogged the pores all back up. From what she said apparently you clean them out, moisturize, close them up, then protect with foundation.

You learn something new every day…

I’m frustrated with shaving. I can’t do anything with the hair that grows in, if I shave every day it aggravates my skin.

I had dinner with my Dad last night. I was regretting it when I first met up with him. He loosened up over the course of the night, however. I never feel like I really know the man. I feel bad for him in a way… he reinvented his entire life, had this great plan… and it all fell apart. Now he’s worse off then where he started before he decided he’d turn everyone’s lives upside down for his own betterment. Wow, that sounds really bitter. I never thought I was all that bitter about it. i was glad when Mom moved out because she was always on my case. He then decided I needed a better example and went all Mormon. What a loopy thing to do.

I’m out of money, small complications here and there… spending money I shouldn’t have to spend on the house, and paying other people’s debts to keep things sane and relatively conflict free. I’m a little sad that a lot of the things I do for people go un-noticed. I try my best to use my resources for the universal good and betterment of those that live with me… and it’s a lot of small things. I feel good when I do it, it’s just hurting me in the pockets. When I don’t — I’m cheap, when I do… no one seems to notice. Sometimes it is noticed, and I appreciate it.

I know of someone else who tries to hard to please everyone. Ran himself into the ground with it, and made people even more angry then if he never promised a thing in the first place. I’m happy, things are going relatively well… but always need more. There’s always more to be done, and more coming up down the road.

I thought of something I could do to save my degree. I’m in danger of losing credits, they drop off after 5 years. I ought to have my associates in programming by now. I could do it, but it’s really really intensive. I thought of changing my major to web programming instead. I can already do that, might even be able to test out of some HTML classes and get a degree. A+, N+, Security, CCNA, MCSE… and a degree in web programming. That’d look good. I’m on my way, hopefully.

Wonder if I can sleep without a toke…
