>What’s one to do for Valentines Day?
The traditional guy may reply as such:
Pick her up with flowers, possibly candy.
Go to a nice restaurant, opening the doors and being as gentlemanly as possible.
Speak of pleasant relationship conversation, forward in nature.
Dance.
Get home with the teddy bear / teddy present and… off to the “boudauh”.
Is that enough — do you have to find a card, a dozen roses?
Are there required commitments, unspoken but expected?
I don’t think I’m doing very well thus far.
I keep getting caught up in the future, my goals — and how all this is supposed to fit together. Where am I going to be in 5 years? Still around here, doing the same thing? Will I find some great job somewhere in a far-away city? I’m so unsure of my life, fearing a year in advance. I have many puzzle pieces, whole sections fit together, but there’s some missing sections that may allow me to view it as a whole.
I’m fucked and ranting right now… so probobly not worth it to continue. I feel like I mean it all, but there’s something just not working for me. So many positives, and only a few negatives. What timing.
