>I received some really good news today — well, it was and it wasn’t. It is good news for my friends, which is good news for me… and it couldn’t be two better people. They have well-matched mentalities, both being very laid back and caring people.
I’m also happy cause there’s no question now for me. I am getting better at taking a hint, but it’s still difficult. It takes noticing things that aren’t quite right and associating those with the opposite result then what you’re going for. Taking a hint saves a lot of hurt trouble.
I know that there’s someone out there — can even name one off hand, but there are enough idiosyncracies that keep me looking. How can you tell a person that they’re completely right for you, knowing that you get along so well, and complement eachother — but that it’s not right enough?
I’m still trying to figure that out. I might snap to my senses one day and realize I’ve had the answer right in front of me all along — but that now it’s too late.
I’m afraid I’ll miss that one person, that I won’t recognize exactly how good I could have had it until it’s long gone. I worry if I get involved now, however… that it would be for the last time, and I don’t want that yet.
In short — I’ve done the same as was done to me. I feel bad for not laying it all out on the table, and so understand why it wasn’t done for me. It’s so hard to tell a person with that look in their eyes that you know, that you’re not against it, but… no.
So yet again karma comes back around, dealing to me as I’ve dealt.
