>Went out to Quabbin Reservoir for the day on Saturday, it was absolutely beautiful out. My friend Ken and I went up to the summit, hiked through the woods, and enjoyed the beautiful view. It was so clear, you could see for miles. Water, rocks, and trees… as far as you could see.

It’s a great place to visit if you’re ever in Western MA.

Observations:

One thing I found interesting — here’s this big reservoir… good, clean water… but not a water fountain in sight. There’s various buildings around, lookout towers, etc… yet, no water fountains. The bathroom even specifically had a sign: “Do Not Drink Water”

  • The Beach makes a good topic of conversation.

  • Chillin spots are good, unless there’s bugs.

  • Trees look they’re from “A Bug’s Life” through binoculars.

  • The path is never as long as it seems, and it’s longer going the other way.
