After waiting an hour and a half on hold today, (after finally obtaining a phone number from an H&R Block financial office), I was brought through the endless loop of looking at my rejected return and having to file it via mail. The reason, it turns out, that it was rejected… was that the federal form has an area for “apt” and the state form doesn’t. Since the federal form didn’t fill out the state form correctly — it haulted the process. Well they couldn’t put it through again, I couldn’t resubmit because of their error.…

>Ok, so Rez is as cool as I thought it would be. It’s one of those things… ominously named “the game” in various stories. A futuristic game that everyone gets into, forgets the rest of their lives… well, maybe not quite, but it’s certainly addictive. I’ve almost beat it, but beating each time unlocks different modes of play in the 4 areas. It starts off mostly point-line 3D… but fills in as you progress (from what I’ve gathered). >I realized a lot of my job consists of gauging people’s honesty. I have to figure out if we are at fault vs the customer… sometimes they’re flat out lying, sometimes they have no clue… and sometimes we’re at fault. >Spent thursday going out to offices near Boston. I saw people who I talk to here and there througout the day, saw their end of the operations, which helps me better understand my own and how to better work with them, all-in-all it was rather rewarding.
