>I’m so confused, frustrated… mainly due to people that I thought I knew. Either I didn’t know them like I thought I did, or they’ve changed. Usually change is a natural progression… sometimes good, sometimes bad. I have this nagging tug at the back of my head, looking to any available female who I’ve yet to meet — usually they’re really nice, there has to be something to draw me to them. My past girlfriend was really pretty — that was about it. I figured there’d be more under the surface… nope. I like to think that I get my…
>I ran across something a while back regarding monkey brains, here’s a follow-up. Wow, I have an odd car name. Here’s some local news from PA. The battle towards preventing piracy of digital TV. A really cool 3D model of an exploding supernova. Keep your eye out for the solar eclipse on Monday. Comet cursor tries to convince everyone they’re not spyware. They found that crazy Englishman. Everything you ever wanted to know about the history behind the Monopoly pieces*. …and finally: God is alive and well.
>Wow, I was wondering how long it would take me to do something to warrant – “it’s ok, you’re drunk” I hoped the day wouldn’t come, that I’d still have enough control over my head to keep composure. In a way, that is true… but though my intentions were to seem witty, they weren’t taken as I intended, and only went downhill as I continued to speak. I rather unintelligently made a comment using an ethnic name in a suggestive fashion. Others that I hang with usually have a pretty good sense of humor as far as race, sexual orientation,…
>I had all but given up on my Pyrads, the little ads that appear on www.blogger.com. I had paid for some ads 4 weeks ago, they had been “pending payment” since I had ordered them. My ads were just sitting there not being displayed. I sent e-mail to pyra after the payment still wasn’t applied, and in turn received a cryptic response (as it was unrelated to what I had written about)… Finally today I noticed the counter was up a little… and sure enough both of the ads were active and almost all my impressions used. Go fig. I…
>I came across some interesting finds, today: Abe Lincoln’s Porn Collection 120 Year Old Relief Map Found Official Rules For “Calling Shotgun” I arrived here in PA last evening. I’m here on business (I feel so professional saying that), training people on the new billing/everything system. We’re well fed, nice hotel… but nothing to do around here. There’s a couple of guys here from work — about my age, so at least I’m not on my own. We’re up on a mountain, right across from another mountain… and another, and another… we’re still wondering how high we are, I guess…
>You can probably guess I’ve been busy as there’s been nothing since the 23rd. I got some major XBox-ing done on Thursday night, got Blitz’02, and with a total of 4 controllers… enjoyed multiplayer fun-fun. Couple people made it over, nothing too exciting, but had a nice relaxing evening. Went camping on Friday night, chilled with friends in West Brookfield, saw the consequences of a COBRA 40oz malt… as demonstrated by my friend Justin. They went home, I got the tent… stayed up for a bit, finished up the rest of the beer, and basked in the comfort of my…
>People seem to get less happy with age. I’m an early twenties looking upon late twenties and wondering: “Will that be me?” I miss the gatherings that I used to have when I was younger, the friends who all used to be able to chill with each other — without issues, no drama. I’m also seeing those that made bad decisions around my age, those decisions having turned their life upside down, and causing regrets. The current “thing” seems to be marriage. I could have told ya that. =] I’m determined in my declaration of no marriage before 30. I…
>Odd… only took about an hour, and a single outburst — to put me in a bad mood. Not really a bad mood – per se… but I’m not in the jolly mood I was previously. It just irks me and I refrain from saying anything, as maybe they should have. It’s amazing how odd the shoe fits when you’re trying to put it on the other foot… ack! is EVERYONE in a bad mood today? I thought I was doing good, I hope this doesn’t ripple throughout the day, it won’t ripple through me, I’m determined to stay in…
>Not much going on, just choosing more movies to get via NetFlix. Currently working on Lain_03, what a series… it would make quite a game. For those that’ve asked: Here’s a list of my movies. All those movies you’ve been meaning to see… delivered to your door, keep them as long as you want, 3 out at a time, return 1, get 1 sent as soon as they receive it. Takes much less time then you would think — I get my movies in about 2 to 3 days. Fully insured, pre-paid envelopes, just seal… and send! Try Netflix!
>It’s somewhat strange that all this video game stuff comes up today… there was a short office discussion as to video games and marriage. Apparently pretty much every male here (Age 20+) plays video games in some form or another. It’s usually computer games. Some were given ultimatums – other’s continue their “habit”. I also read an article about NFL athletes playing more video games, sometimes until all hours of the night, effecting their sleep habits and performance on the field. This seems like a somewhat serious issue. I mean, not everyone who has a game system/computer plays games all…

>There’s more! Would you like to see Star Wars: Episode 2? Operation XBox: complete. I requested they leave it at the local office… did a follow up call bright and early this morning… and sure enough: the package was on the truck for delivery — not at the office so I could pick it up. They did call me, I’ll give them that — which is the least they can do considering they didn’t call on Friday. I was able to manage a meeting with the UPS guy on Main St. later on in the day. Far… far too much…
>Friday was busy… a lot of hither and thither, but nothing exciting. I was hoping on getting my XBox delivered. Had I been up 3 minutes earlier… I was at the front door about 10 minutes to 12… nothing, checked the tracking info — UPS said they attempted delivery @ 11:57. I checked the side door again – bam, my games… but no XBox. I checked the front of the house: lo and behold — a tag. I then tried to get them to meet me somewhere, or pick it up from the local office — they promised me a…
>Attack of the Clones was very good. I was impressed as it was much more then I was expecting. It was great to see in full large-screen glory, complete with booming sound. I still haven’t seen Episode 1, so I guess I’ll have to go back and watch it. I wasn’t planning on seeing it the first night… but couple of friends were going and I was planning on hanging with them anyhow… and was able to get my ticket online beforehand, though there were some issues with that. I bought it from movietickets.com and it didn’t go through the…
>Going to check out that house tonight… took advantage of the XBox’s new price, and I’ve already purchased my ticket for a 12:06 showing of Attack of the Clones. I’ve been attempting to find the DivX about, which wouldn’t stop me from actually seeing it in a theater, but haven’t found a real copy of it yet. I’ve heard of others having them… so I’ll most likely stumble on one after the initial release. If you’re staying home: Don’t buy an Integra… Germany might try and pull a fast one… Ok, bird/dino thing is getting a little odd…
>The weather the past few days has been fairly dark… it was raining heavily all day yesterday, and was somewhat cold earlier today. About 4:30, or 5 it went from partly sunny to pouring rain. Halfway through the rain the sun came out, shining through the drops… creating somewhat of a sparkling effect on my cubicle wall. The rain has since stopped, and the sun is shining right on me. The trees outside form a sort of canopy, all soggy from the rain, the leaves just droop together. It’s a quiet, peaceful time outside. I got a call from Ken…
>Went out to Quabbin Reservoir for the day on Saturday, it was absolutely beautiful out. My friend Ken and I went up to the summit, hiked through the woods, and enjoyed the beautiful view. It was so clear, you could see for miles. Water, rocks, and trees… as far as you could see. It’s a great place to visit if you’re ever in Western MA. Observations: One thing I found interesting — here’s this big reservoir… good, clean water… but not a water fountain in sight. There’s various buildings around, lookout towers, etc… yet, no water fountains. The bathroom even…
