So comments are now working, it wasn't quite lickity split but it's amazing what 15 minutes of reading can do.
So now, you will see:
(X) Comments | Post a CommentWhen you click on the link to the left, the comments (if any) will then appear. Otherwise you'll get nothing. When you click the link to the right, you will be brought to the comment posting area (for the correct post, even!) where you may leave a registered member post, secret identity, or anonymous posting.
Dig it.

Venus, Saturn, and Mercury will be aligned rather closely these next 3 nights. They'll be in the Western sky and about a degree or so apart (about a moon's witdth), getting closer together each night.

Consider comments gone for now. Unless it's really easy, but that what I'm about to check on.

The day has come. My comments are still broken but I don't care at this point -- although I always wanted comments, I saw other people with comments and I was searching for cgi scripts and php, and looking into all these different aspects.
Here I am with the capability now for comments, and I am not right on it.
I'm busy with the job.
I'm busy with more job tomorrow.
I'm going places almost every weekend this summer (will get some R&R somewhere along the way)
I'm getting new clients, working on websites (other then my own).
I'm so happy when I can sit for 15 minutes and play a video game. I'm in heaven right now. nVidia has finally released: SLi Drivers for WinXP64. I just restarted and I'm about to indulge.
If you attempt to comment on this, it'll show up in the fark post -- which is kinda cool. Somewhere in my "blogID" the "postID" is hardcoded in. Variables are a silly thing that way. Blogger isn't as well documented anymore. If you don't want their set up, you better be smart enough to figure it out. I've had too many beers thus far to bother to try and think it, I'll just be spinning my wheels. ;)

Wow. I was at a party the other night, drinking and having fun when I get a call from my step mom, my dad was having a heart attack and being moved to BayState -- We had spoken earlier because I called to see what was up for father's day. It turns out that he had gone to the hospital with chest pains. They did some tests, but everything looked OK and he was probobly going home that night.
As of the phone call the situation had magnified and he was being brought in to the good hosptial. It was only within 20 minutes of the party, we left right then and headed straight to the hospital. We saw him when he came in, then waited for them to do some tests. We stayed with him for a while (it's like 3am at this point) and then went home. Nicole had to work early, and I was exhausted from the ordeal.
We grabbed a bit to eat at Friendlies in the lobby because neither of us had really had anything to eat, then headed home.
I went to visit him yesterday -- it was kind of sad. Visting my father in the hospital on Father's Day. I wish I had something better for him. Still have no idea, but I'll bring him out when he's all better. We were throwing things around that he'd like to do. He mentioned something about sprint car racing. So I'm going to check out the Westfield track and see if there's any races any time soon. I always suggest the movies and dinner, mainly cause there's nothing else I can think of that he'd like.
He never seemed more human to me then when he was there in the hospital. He's never spoken so candedly, so frankly. It's really nice. It's to bad it took such a tramatic event to bring it out, but he's learning from his mistakes, trying to be a be a better person. All I ever wanted was the truth.
I think I'm finally getting it.

Living above an old lady means not doing your laundry at 11:00 o'clock at night.
It also means not using the blender to make margaritas at 11:00 o'clock at night.
Growing up is hard to do...

Ep III Already Online (soapbox)
3 New Game Systems
I can't believe all 3 are backwards compatible!!! That means that all the games that have ever been made for Playstation, from the original on up will be playable on the PS3, the "best selling XBox games" will be available on XBox 360 (huh, it's not virtual reality or anything... c'mon), and GameCube games will be playable on the Nintendo Revolution. Both XBox and the Revolution will include downloadable content, with XBox leaning towards media, and NIntendo including all games... ever. So you can play your favorite NES, SNES, Nintendo64... in HiDEF
I'm excited at the prospect of having an insane ammount of games available at launch. No more waiting 6 months for anything good to come out. I'm torn, though. I think I just may stick with XBox.
I'm still undecided though.

So this is for you Nicole -- I cleaned up all the code to only show text, the code was an unpleasant by-product of my method of sneaky posting from work. I will no longer include the < HTML > tag when I'm posting. Blogger doesn't like it. My URL program includes it because it makes it easy to save the HTML to a file, rename it .html and boom -- you've got a webpage. However, it must be a security feature that blogger no longer allows you to post using such a tag. I imagine someone could send the HTML then a javascript to try and break into the blogger code as it's publishing, even. I shall forgive them, in other words.
I haven't updated in a while. I finally got the computers up and running here at the new apartment with the DSL. It's running 1.5-1.7 right now, they've been upping it as I go -- and maybe it'll even approach 3mb. I'm close to the switching location so I imagine they should be able to go that high. I went back to DSL because I hate being on the cable companies string. DSL has faster ping time, I'm about 40ms vs 80-120ms with cable. I don't need all the bandwidth. I'm not downloading that much anymore. At least, not like I used to ;)
I have peer guardian, and I hear the new version of Limewire is really sweet. Just make sure you wear a jimmie hat.
So yeah -- following that, I have the intro to the new apartment. I'm feeling all spiffy and handy. I've fixed quite a few things, got a drill, several tool kits now, and I am thinking I'm hot shit with the fixing. I just got a new toilet flusher, kitchen faucet with built in sprayer, and reconfigured my computer desk. It's pressboard, but I was able to take a spare piece, cut it to size, redrill some holes and boom -- you have what you see here in
this picture. Dual monitor glory, as I originally intended back when I bought my seccond monitor. It's now mine! Muahahahaha!
It's nifty, still isn't really supported by games, but it's there... someday...
The pictures are only a preview. The house is still in shambles. I've unpacked so much... and there's so much more to do. I hope to be able to do the kitchen faucet tomorrow. We'll see.
