"When someone loves you, and knows who you really are -- that's something."- Six Feet Under Ep 3
It's good stuff.
It's a little to close to "Dead like me" though. It is different, but whats the deal with two different pay tv networks putting out an original series at the same time, both about death?
Are Showtime and HBO affiliated? As far as I'm concerned, I'm "Dead Like Me" all the way, so much more flavor to it.
Six Feet Under is different, good in it's own right. I miss pay TV if only for that reason... but that's why we've got DVDs =]

He's going away, thank god... he's going away.
I could go into all the things that Rob does that drives me nuts. I won't though.
I'm not going to get myself worked up even thinking about it. He wanted me to bring him to the airport tomorrow. I refuse. I brought him last time and thought my head was going to explode. He just kept talking and it drove me crazy. I'm going to have to leave as early as possible tomorrow morning and pretend I'm going to work. I think I'll go to the mall, maybe visit Nicole at work in Amherst.
I don't really have to do it, but it would be so much easier. He'll otherwise count that I can bring him, miss his flight, something obnoxious like that. As it was I already had to "listen to the operator" as she gave a confirmation code. He bought a ticket via a travel agent (always trying to save a buck) and then tried to get US Airways to print a boarding pass... which you can't do unless you buy it from their system. Thus -- you go to the window, give your credit card, and blam, you have your ticket.
That's it, that's all I'm doing, I'll leave it at this -- he's an idiot. I hate living with him, it's stressfull living with him, he's a pansy, and he makes me angry quite often. That said -- I'm moving out.
I don't know quite where or when but I have a good idea.
I hope to do that within the next month or so.
I have to move out of my room to do it, that's ok.
Dan's taking over all the utilities, etc. All of a sudden he's worried about power. Heh. Well -- whatever, I'm not paying any more. I have security deposit owed to me, and have 2 months worth of cable paid. I'm good to just ease out of this place until my checks kick in.
I'm still waiting on that, BTW.
I also sold a computer to Alysa's neighbor, so that $ ought to be coming in soon. Oh... and there's the really expensive CT speeding ticket I got the other day trying to get to work in 15 minutes. Note to self -- don't do that anymore.
$470 that I could be paying bills with. So that's $1000 spent on my car in the last month alone, and it hasn't even broke yet, just tires, installation, plus result of having the traction of a racecar. .:sigh:.
It's a good sigh though, for a change. A content sigh, one that is for knowing I'm paying more then I ought to have, but knowing it was warranted, and that soon... soon I can afford it.

"why don't you have some dirty hot sex with me..."
Whew, things are busy. They still haven't hired me full time, but they want me to get everything done before the deadline. I got yelled at for not clearing overtime with them first. Of course, as yelling goes it really wasn't all that bad, but still...
I'm hoping to get to work on the FinishLineGFX website, a new idea as to how to do the navigation quick and easy with an attractive simple mouseover came to me durring the day today. I can't wait to put it into production. I already have the graphics made for it as it was originally part of the shmantzy javascript hullabaloo I had going, but I need something quick and easy, maybe even multiple page, get away from the iframes I love so much. *cough* though there's a time and place for everything... like *cough* ahem, uh... yeah, *cough* this site *cough*.
I'm giving up the house. At the end of the month the landlord is taking over, I'll just rent a room from him intead of vice versa (long story), so won't have the responsibility of all the bills, and collecting, and can just lay back. It's what I would have done all along, and ironically enough the opportunity finally comes when I'm ready to move out. Rob still has barely spoken to me, I think he knows that he's the reason I want out. ;)
I've been looking at places, some local, some not... just trying to find a good compromise for Nicole and I. Yes, you heard right... I'm thinking about it, she's thinking about it, and if we can make it happen easily enough, it will happen. I'd like some place a little closer to CT, but will do what I can so she won't be inconvenienced by my convenience. =]
So that's it for now, time to go home... it's so nice out. I wish my hand wasn't all still burnt.
Oh yeah, forgot about that -- need to tell the potato story...

So it appears that email posts are a day or two behind...
last time I checked was a day after I had posted via email -- nothing
I see it now, but it's like 2 weeks after the fact.
I've been looking at new places to live.
Dreaming of the possibilities once this job goes through.
They offered me the positon, however -- it's unofficial.
Signatures are still required.
I was trying to get the FinishLineGFX website updated.
It's a wash.
I have since lost all the original photoshop images and such. I can't change what's there, only create new.
I don't have time to create a site from scratch. I don't have the imagination!
I'm very strapped for time. I worked on it all this evening and still I have nothing.
I half-assed the javascript last time. I have some new script that I can use, but it still has issues with how I display content currently (*ahem* i-frames *ahem*) so I need to revamp the whole thing if I want to use it.
I think I'll go non-flashy and add flash to it later.
It seems the smart way to go to support general good-practice HTML, but it seems so boring to me. I hope FinishLine will like it, I guess he doesn't have much of a choice... however, I need to get it done because he's already paid me. I feel bad letting it slide. I've been working on it... just haven't been getting anywhere.
.:sigh:.
I just need to throw something together in Photoshop, get everything cleared off my desk in my room and create on the Mac. It's so much easier. I have the newest versions of everything for the Mac and it's got a wider screen, comfortable chair, all that stuff.
I pulled my back out the other day. I had the tires changed on my car, was pulling the winter rims/tires out of my car quickly before work -- pulled up while twisting, bad combo.
So that hurts.... oh, and I burnt my hand on a potoato. You could ask, but then I'd just be attempting to explain how one decides that their fist is capable of withstanding the heat of a very hot potato where one's fingers can not. It's all very convoluted... actually it's not, but let's just say that it is and look at that thing over there, and...
[hey, keep looking!]
.:sneaks away:.
damn 10.1 OSX -- I can't spell check with safari, excuse the errors.
beers done, time for sleep.
