Got a Mac? You've at least got OSX 10.1 right? You want Synergy - iTunes plug-in of sorts. It runs in your menu bar at the top, you have a prev/pause/next button, and full hot-key configuration. I actually shelled out $5 to register it. I used it happily without for the trial and couldn't stand to see it go away. Hell -- that's a lunch @ Wendys.
For those that spend a lot of time on their music collection (ahem, me) it allows easy rating and flipping through the endless un-rated tunes. It also looks up the album art (only about 150x150 .tiff) via the net and stores it in a folder. Open, copy, paste to tracks for an easy album art solution. You can always look up the ones you want to be high-res via buy.com (they've got the biggest album art of anywhere around -- and pretty good chance of finding even the more obscure stuff).
Support the habit!
Oh -- just finished listening to the iTunes (partial album) clips of the new David Bowie:: I love the commercial. Lyrics to 'The Loneliest Guy' : "streets don't mourn, empty smell metal(?) -- weeds between buildings, pictures on my hard drive - and I'm the luckiest guy..." Holy jump-start to the 21st century Bowie-Man! =]~ (and I've gone and bought: Never Get Old, New Killer Star, & Days :: in that order) ;)
Pardon if there's no spell-checking as of late, Blogger's a tad behind on their Mac support, I shouldn't expect any different. I need my Windows Blogger API... where's all -my- features

Late night TV is bad. Bad in quality, and bad in influence. "You're up late, you're probably messed up -- buy buy BUY!"
There was some stupid car show (they made a shitting joke [peanut shells] and a 'you said sucks' comment within the first minute) that was all about adding HP to your car for not too much money. I endured the stupidity to learn a few good points. Flowmaster recently updated their site with everything from video to audio clips of how each exhaust sounds - www.flowmastermufflers.com
The other site mentioned was the hypertech reprogrammer. With fuel maps for certain octane, it's sure to get the most HP out of the best fuel you can put into it. It reprograms your chip via the diagnostic port on all new (97+) vehicles. - www.hypertech-inc.com
Oh yeah -- and the company is NOS, Nitrous is NO2 (I am almost certain), N.O.S. is the company - so that's why people sound dumb when they say "Your cars got NOSS?!! Who says late night TV all bad... (wait... didn't I just... nevermind.)

I realized today that I like the new job.
I listen to music all day, good music, modern music. I fold clothes. I greet people, and introduce myself. It's a good time talking with people and employees.
A rather interesting thing happened today. "The Kernel" came in. About 55, dressed in a sort of leisure suit complete with chest hair and gold chain, he reeked of liquor and had a mission: to find his niece. He introduced himself to my manager as "The Kernel" and was looking for "a short Korean girl" his niece whom he was supposed to meet there. He used the phone after a belabored introduction, where he hurt my managers hand with his handshake and saying that she was the prettiest thing he'd seen since he got out. She's no ugly duckling... but daaaaaaamn, he must have been isolated. On the other hand she also told him he was very sharp looking, much more sharp then we were accustomed to here at the mall. This was only after he made a comment, and expected a response in regards to his rather outdated appearance.
On the phone with his niece (I'm assuming) he kept repeating the same thing: "where are you?!" she'd tell him, he'd repeat where she said she was, then ask her again "where are you? right now?" -- it got almost scary. Then he was going on about how he was brought here with a millitary escort, then I think she hung up on him. When he was about to leave he had to introduce himself directly to me, shaking my hand fiercely and plopping a battered silver dollar and a marines pin on the counter.
I began to wonder if this guy was a head-case, and he probably was, at the very least he was a Kernel in the Marine Corps, out after 30 years of service -- "...and I tell ya, it's a trip -- just look at these little fellas". If it didn't involve traumatizing children, it probably would have been funnier then it was. I was confused, but amused.

Kazaa fights back -- the gist I got was that since the justice department notes Kazaa lite being used to track these 'offenders' down in the official court documents - they're guilty of violating the TOS of Kazaa, I'd imagine they could be kicked off the network for using a hacked version of Kazaa and voilating their copyright. The irony is killing me here!
Anyone for a game of name that Phallus? (thanks to SighClub for the link, and some fun content)

Whats going on? I'm already sleeping all day. I was up at 9:30 but went back to sleep and only just got up about 12. I don't want to be a slug...
I worked at GAP again last night, took advantage of the "fall line cupon" to buy a sweater and jeans @ $15 ea. Since they're 49.95 each I was unable to resist. Besides, they only get so many mediums -- usually they've only got small and XXL left over after the first week they're out, so I needed to moove quickly. As it was I had to get the green one instead of orange because they didn't have my size. So I'm doing GREAT at the new job, spending more then I'm earning -- just as a job normally is... ha.
I'm addicted to the local sandwich shop - Semolina's (bread company). They have a stone oven that they cook the bread in, and use all the best ingredients. It's like 6.50 a sandwich... but I'll eat the whole thing, no matter how full I get. No matter what -- it's delicious. My friend Laura works there too -- though I don't get a discount. I have an issue with eating as it is, really can't force myself to eat crap after my Cooscus and Ramen days, I've been ruined for life. ;)
Painting is more on it's way, as is the roommate situation. I feel kinda bad about Kristina's friend. I had tried to make as objective of a decision as I was able. After talking to another of my friends who's also a friend of him, I felt a lot better. I was judging on appearance, about all I had to go on. I had a feeling from him, and I've learned to trust that feeling. I was also being a hippocrate, as I spent my teenage years trying to get through the fake people by putting on an image that would keep them at a distance. I was still a good person -- just didn't look it, and here I was judging someone on the same basis that I was judged before. If that ain't a hippocrate, I don't know what is.
It's not a permanant thing, he's mainly trying to get back on his feet, get shit together, and steer clear of future roommates. I don't blame him, and when I was just by myself it was great, however if there was something wrong I had no one to blame but myself. It made me more concious of how I can be... and at least be aware of it, and to try to "cut it off at the pass". I just don't want no sketchies 'round these parts.

I'm going to try and keep track of the things that Phil says that bother me. Tonight we were spouting synonymns for crap/shit, a sort of quick-wit freestyle. He snuck in Mazda. I laughed it off -- but is his intent to hurt?
I'm pretty sure he knows it bothers me that he digs on the car -- but on the other hand, he knows the cheapshot: that he doesn't even have one.
** update * 09/03 ** We talked today, everything is calm. As we were squaring up on the money he owed me he was debating the $80 we were charged for the door. Everyone else paid it, and he's debating it... I simply told him "it's non-negotiable" and he stopped. Otherwise he would have gone on and on about how the landlords were crazy, and that was when they were "on us for everything because of Ken"
** update * 09/26 ** I came home and Phil was drunk, him and Rich were enjoying an old repeat of the Man show, he was joking -- held the lock shut in the kitchen saying "your key doesn't work in THIS one" and as I pushed my way in he ran into the other room while saying: "No - there's a logical explanation for this!" -- putting words in my mouth. I didn't say that, but I knew what he was harping on.
I was so stressed, didn't know what to do at that time, and it certainly wasn't the best time to try and attempt it, but had it worked... might have changed everything, and certainly would have made it all quite a bit more interesting.

This really intreiged me.
I bought a Tingler today, the real one - and it was only $15 vs the $34.95 listed on the web site. The patent pending stems from the handle and the metal composition of the thing. It's copper with what seems to be a magnet, coiled wire in the base -- part of what gives its tingle. The rest is pure over-stimulation of all your head nerves. It's great, and has a wonderfully relaxing effect.
While we were in Northampton, we went to the local Chinese/Japanese restaurant and I ordered some Sushi. I've had a hankerin since I saw the last Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. They created sushi as a sort of exotic dish and my mouth was watering the whole time. So I got my sushi, and it was good.
When I got home, Kristina came home with her drinking crew -- I met the guy who's supposed to move in shortly, and instantly had a bad feeling about him. It's only the 2nd time I've met the guy. I just don't like him. I don't want him in the house, and I don't want his friend Nick in the house because I especially don't trust him. There's just something about the people who don't have anything to lose. It's odd.
I need to tell Kristina today, I know she's not going to like it as "he's her close friend" but close friend or not, you need to look clean, not be rude, and prove yourself responsible, none of which he managed to pull off. I had to close the door behind them after they left - not something I want to have to worry about.
I have people I trust lined up, that's what matters to me the most - I can't trust in other's people's trust anymore.

Big E exibit special: JAWS Ladders - 800-419-5880 Air Chair - 508-832-3116 Soft Tub (portable spa) - www.softub.com Cool Mist Lamp - www.coolmistlamp.com Northern Routes - macmac@sover.net
-=-
The JAWS ladder has the ability to transform into all sorts of useful shapes.
The Air Chair is a hammock-like chair that hangs from the ceiling. It's quite comfortable, and having somewhere to hang it is the hardest part of justifying its purchase... which is solved by buying the frame which works just as well.
The Soft Tub is a portible spa, complete with all the power jets... not really 'portible' but it's made of heavy duty foam, guaranteed for 5 years (limited), and is quite a bit cheaper and less permanant then a normal fixed spa. (they start at about $3k)
The cool mist lamp gives off an eerie colored glow (it changes color - green to blue to red...) through a mist from normal tap water, and the special mist/light maker. It looked really cool, and I want one!
Northern Routes was an interesting band, a lot of celtic influence. It's dance music, so you get the toe-tapping and want to hop around. I talked to the guys when I was with my Mom. She's always looking for more VT people she might know. It turns out one of the guys lives in Fletcher (where I was born) and knows of my brother who still lives there. It was interesting, good music. A few of the guys were complaining they didn't sell any CDs, but they didn't take up my offer of 3 CDs for 30 -- I wasn't buying them for less then $10 each as I was getting them for Christmas presents and wanted to get some sort of deal for buying a couple. A stammer from one guy, a sure from another, and "Well, we do 1 for $15, 2 for $35..." from another promted me to not want to buy any. I'm offering to buy a CD so as you said "you'll have gas money for the ride home" so don't play it up if you're not hurting that bad ;)

I went to the Big E again, this time with my Mom. It was much slower paced, she doesn't have the energy she used to have. Resting would only give her less and less rejuivination every time, shortening the time between rests. When it got to be about 10 minutes, we figured it was about time to go. We found some good deals, I spent more this time... ate just as much, and had a generally good time with Mom.
I realize I still get short with her by the end of the day. I think I was just tired in general, but there was a few times where I said something in a tone that would regret after I said it. We had a really nice day out, though. I showed her the house afterwards as she had yet to see it. I suppose she offers decorating advice as to how she'd want it, and I feel it's obvious that I don't share the same style so I get short and sarcastic with her. At least, that's what happened this time. So I'm aware of it -- it's something to work on.
I'm always happy when something from the bible turns out true as our only documentation in regards to what happened back then. I'm sure the Coran, or the many other holy books could also shed some light, maybe give another side to the same stories in the bible but they're either too holy for us to see or remain untranslated. I went to the Big E today with L & C. I ate a ton of stuff, drank as many varieties of Oktoberfest as I could find, and jousted. L won the first time, but I won the last 2 times. She put up quite a fight though ;)
We wore ourselves out.
Photoshop: iPod Ads I used to be a regular -- back in the day, but went a few weeks ago for the first time in years and ran into a few old chums at the local goth club located in Northampton. Accept no imitations, the Tingler is where it's at.

Movies movies movies.
I saw Underworld today, only after the most unfulfilling doctors visit -- ever. The doctor was a student, I could tell right away. Since I had mentioned "STD screening" she was all nervious and proceeded to tell me that "if there's no discharge, then the only thing to really check for is HIV -- with guys you'd know it if you had something". That really made me angry, because everything we learned in high school sex education was that STDs can be a silent killer. (or at least make you wish you were dead) How dare she dismiss it so readily! I have a feeling it was just because she was uncomfortable with it. I wasn't concerned that I actually had anything, but this is my last doctor's visit (insurance goes bye-bye soon) -- the least I can do is back up my assumption that all is well. On top of that, when we were done she referred me to "the lab" for the actual blood-taking without showing me where it was, or explaning anything... and after putting me through a gauntlet of inquiries in regards to my seat-belt habbits, presence of guns in the house, and a few other ridiculously irrelivant questions. I was fed up -- and all this after being 5 minutes away from walking out (I told myself I'd leave after an hour had passed without seeing anyone... she came in @ 55 min on the dot).
After that was all done, and I calmed down a little (left there about as riled up as a muskrat in heat)... I caught a matinee of Underworld. I was a bit dissapointed in that as well, it was pretty... it had vampires and warewolves all right, but they each had specialty ammunition so they could have gun-fights left and right. The premise was good, the execution was dissapointing -- it was interesting, half-way through I was actually paying attention, but it fell well short of my expectations. If you like gothic-ness, you'll enjoy the costumes... but the characters were few and far between. The majority was fluff. Catch a matinee and you won't be kicking yourself for the $9 you would otherwise be spending.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico An excellent movie to follow Desperado, seeing it first isn't necessary but you'll be more in the loop if you have. I've just got to say something about Johnny Depp's character: phenominal. T-shirts, lunchboxes, pork, and taquilla. There are many twists and turns, and nothing turns out as planned except for the most versatille.
It's an excellent action movie, a few brutal moments left me momentarily shocked, and the action sequences left me wide-eyed and slack-jawed at the perfect timing. As the credits state: Shot, Cut, and Scored by one guy, (if I remembered his name I'd be putting it here) I'd assume it's the director. One person doing it all should be able to present it exactly as they intend, and it shows.

Yesterday I went to visit friends @ UMass. I hung out in the dorms, caught a movie, and got a taste of the college life. I sure am glad to be home ;) elevators with beercans on the floor, people everywhere at all times. It was nice durring the day, but it gets to be a circus as the night goes on =]
I must say that the dorms in general, and more specifically the bathrooms are better maintained and more robust (as robust as a college dorm bathroom can be) then Framingham State.
Being something like the 3rd most populated 1/4 mile in the world, and certainly in the states, there are many opportunities for kids of college age. People to meet, things to do, just go outside and you'll see all the fields filled with people throwing frisbees and just having fun doing whatever. One thing I didn't see was people studying ;) I can see how someone would want that kind of adventure when going off to college. It's harder to stay on top of yourself to actually do your work... but damn it's gotta be fun for the first few years of being away from the 'rents.

I went to go get my kitty on Monday -- her name's Fitzi =] Check out the previous pictures.
She's about 3 months old now, I've spent the last few days just hanging at home and playing with the kitten. She loves chasing balls and sleeping under the covers. I'm trying my best to give her as much attention as Franna got when she was a kitten -- she turned out wonderfully and I can only hope I can raise another stupendous kitty.
The brain turns out to have more storage space then all computers combined, that's a lot of memory.
I've been running w/o spell check for the past few days, Mac API is always behind. Se la vie.
I started @ GAP last night, skipped my orientation and went right to the floor. I mainly looked around where things went, folded, and straitened. There weren't many customer's on a Tues night, but just as well because I needed a little hand-holding for the first day. It was good to be working, a little discouraging at 7.50 an hour... but I didn't want to earn that much anyhow. I enjoy the people, networking, having something to go do, and of course since it's the GAP have to look my best ;)
I'm carefully weighing how much it costs to eat, drive, dress, and groom for this job vs what I actually take home. Up to $100 shouldn't effect my bennefits, and even then I don't lose out on the bennefits, they'll just be depleated slower.
I'm off for the day to go visit my friend(s) @ UMASS -- always iffy about the dorms, and they always seem overly confident that there's nothing to worry about.
A friend of mine knows truly not what she does -- decidedly a user, of people that is. It's frustrating because I figured it would work itself out, that she'd realize eventually -- or maybe she knows and is denying it by asking the exact question to others that she needs to be asking herself. "What in the world could cause someone to not want to hang with me?" It's not calling people to "hang out" when that involves driving you to your better friend's house, hanging out, and driving you back - or driving you to the mall, or wherever... especially after "getting your own car" (turns out only for the summer), not calling anyone, being a rude bitch, then suddenly calling your old friends once your need for rides resumes. *ahem* OK -- I feel better now.

Today has been such a lazy day. It's been so humid as it finally rained. I helped Dad with the last of the yard sale yesterday, brought the furniture back home too -- no idea where I'm actually going to use it... but it'll look all nice once it's cleaned up.
I have an issue with the furniture, no... my father -- I guess I get my stingyness from him. I had to purchase the furniture off of him, 3 tables and an entertainment center -- all solid cherry. It's very nice, but covered in a coat of grime that is green when wet. I've scrubbed and scrubbed but it's nowhere near done and it needs to be clean before I can use polish. It's grimy, cracked (I think due to the ride out on the trailer), and it's been down in the cellar for 2+ years. How much did I pay for this priveledge ? $150 -- but I don't have to pay it all now. Wow. No one else was buying it, and no one would for that much. I'm sure it's really valuable and all, but that's a tad out of my price range -- I offered $75 for the lot and was corrected on the price by my father.
Now he'll probably stop talking to me in a year after I haven't paid him the full ammount. I say this because in family disputes involving my father money is usually the root cause. In example: my half-brother on my Dad's side "bought" a camping trailer from us. He never paid in full, not sure if he paid at all... and my father never talks to him because of it (and his gypsie background).
-*-
Laura and I made quite the feast last night: a chicken, spinach linguine with alfredo sauce, spinache salad, and mashed potatoes -- with milkshakes for dessert. I've continued to maintain the "stuffed" feeling today, eating whenever I feel bored. I may even have gained a pound or two ;)
Kiwi's are my favorite fruit, got a ton of them on sale @ .25 ea. I'm so happy! They taste like giant strawberrys to me =] Ice cream sandwiches as well, I like those. Laura got me started yesterday -- she kept talking about the meal we were to have, what we'd shop for... and food has remained on my mind for the past two days because of her ;)
-*-
I've painted coat 1 on half of my room, once the 2nd coat is done I'll move everything over and do the other side. It looks good, a very light green -- complementary to the shade of pink that it's covering, but that shall not get in the way of it's complete obliteration! Consumed by green the pink shall be... yesssssssssssssss, consuuuuuuuuumed! MUHHAAHAHAHA!
It's all nice and peaceful, really changes the room's atmosphere.
-*-
Yeah, so I've been a busy unemployed bee. I've been doing stuff, kinda.

grand ams have eyeshadow.
I spent the day waiting for my last check -- at least a week later then I needed it, I've been a tad on edge but otherwise OK -- I had been attempting to reflect on receiving water at two separate fast food places over the past week, but the blog got erased. I shall attempt again:
I believed it to be due to the lawsuits sprouting up for guarding people against their own free will. It appears to have been an isolated anomoly, but it seems to me a good idea. I feel compelled to get a drink whenever I go due to the inevitable thurst of consuming a fast food item. If they give you water, you don't have to ask -- feel like a dolt, and you're not forced to pay $1 a bottle, as well as staying hydrated. Is it possibly due to the heat? It's a good idea anyway. Just give it to them if they don't order a drink, whatever they do with it is all good, it's only water -- and they'll take it if you just hand it to them because they'll think at first that they've got someone else's soda.
Everyone can use a water, so let it flow like wine... er water?
BTW:: I don't normally eat fast food, but as of late there's been good deals for $1-3 that entice me in-between when I manage to cook for myself.

The past few days have been fairly busy for me -- dentist appointments 3 times this week in a rush to get everything all set before my insurance is up. I have a Dr's appt scheduled for one of these days as well. .: note to self: brush all the time :.
Last night I went out to my buddy Justin's in Framingham. He's got a sweet pad -- jacuzzi, pool, the place is like a hotel. I visited there for a while, it's a bit of a drive but not too bad for every once in a while.
We caught up a little -- he hooked me up with the DJ Greenlantern CD that everyone's been talking about. It's in response to some issues with Ja Rule startin' shit, it's interesting, and got some banging bass with a lot of old school re-mixes of Bigee and 50 near the end.

Leave it to my father to hold the only tag sale that men would be interested in. All air tools, grinding/sanding discs, hoses, wire... everything for the local hobby welders.
I had a lot of electronics and computer stuff, so there were quite a few people who stopped by. I sold my radio-controlled monster truck -- a Radioshack gem from 5 years ago, some PC games... and some memory to my step-mom. Not a HUGE haul, but it was a nice day and didn't mind sitting out.
The hard part was moving everything. As I was getting things out of the basement, nostalgia came over me in a tremendous wave. Boxes of books from my years of collecting from school book fairs, with all the scripts from any plays I had done in high school, pictures, stuffed animals, and baby/kid books. I grabbed a few things for eBay, boxed some up to go to mom's for safe keeping, and threw other stuff away.
We wound up the day about 4 or so, finally finished getting everything put away by 6, and I was on my way home. I met up with la chica for some pool later on, and got to bed relatively early and ended it all with an incredibly good night's sleep.

Today I enjoyed the day off -- got up relatively early and headed east to stop by my mom's school. It was the first time I had seen this new school, and it was interesting to be able to visit while school was in session. She worked in an elementary school for so many years, then about 2 years before she's ready for retirement she gets a good job at a vocational high school. Her specialty being English and Title1 (MA dept of education speak for special ed) it works well at a vocational high school as English is not normally a strong point.
I needed to borrow her camera to take some pictures for a client's website. I ate lunch with her in the teacher's lounge. It certainly was a blast from the past, a few kids would yell greetings to my mom in the hall, the bell rang and the herd went stampeding by. Same story, different school. I felt a little uncomfortable talking with the teachers, but managed to hold my own and discuss a few things, mainly telecommunications and general computer stuff.
It was a relaxing drive out in the country, took my time - no hurry, got home and worked on the site for a little while before heading out to yet another shindig at a co-worker's place. They had a keg, and meat on the grill, and many many people in a small circle in the back yard. Apparently because of dog poo (I found out later he had taken care of that, as I would have thought he would, with a scooper that afternoon) so it was rather odd to see such a large fenced-in yard with everyone congregated in a very small area.
I drank some and chilled there for a while - it was funny to hear the geek speak, but nowhere near the conversation on Thursday: "Don't ask me about grammar when I've been drinking..." "Well, what about parenthesis... I use those all the time, everything parenthesis." "I always use that dot dot dot thing (...)" "Elipsis!" "Yes! Dude, I LOVE elipsis!"
It was a fun evening, the kegstands were just getting started when I left -- had refrained for about an hour and hadn't gone crazy that evening, so was able to drive and made it home safely. I had to get up early to help my father with his tag sale in the morning.

Today was the last day of work, I went in for 12 - worked for an hour and then it was time to wrap it up with a little luncheon. They told us over and over how much they appreciated us -- logical retort being: If we're so appreciated, how come we're the ones being let go? With the equally logical corporate answer: You cost too much money. Oh.
Check out my entry from the day they told us. I had refrained to publish anything, and will even refrain from the company name in the meanwhile, though anyone that follows the telecommunications industry will certainly know which one I'm speaking of.
I got home in time to meet with my web client - got everything squared away with the domain name, she gave me the objects to photograph, and got the blog set up for her main update area. I just need to get a camera and I'll be all set.
Afterwards was a party at a local club/bar that was for all the mutually in-limbo employees -- I eventually made it, and had a blast. I haven't danced so much in about a month. After a few Redbull and Vodkas -- I wasn't stopping, and didn't until we had to go home. =]

If you're anything like me, you're still making sure friends and families computers are secure with the newest patch. However sometimes WindowsUpdate doesn't work as advertised, if at all... and particular versions can cause issues with the website. So whats a person to do?
Run the detection tool first. You'll have to go to a command line and type: KB823980Scan localhost to check your machine, or enter an IP to check the infection/patch status of any computer on your network.
If you can't get the update to patch "the worm hole" via windows update, here's the real sobig/msblaster patch page that M$ doesn't want you to find.

As I'm always one for badly drawn cartoons: Mr Lep & Idol Ned
Large items being held for ransom is also amusing for me. Their only demands: "400 pounds of gorgonzola ravioli in unmarked bags".
Like... OMG!! Islamic Jihad zombies!!1!!1!

Today's theme - questions: How much water do you need to drink to avoid the dehydration/hangover effects of alchohol?
How much do clouds weigh?
How does your cell service rate?

Wow, guess those backups came in handy.
When in limbo - back akimbo.
^-^
Full restoration for this evening, almost everything's back up now.
In the same vein, there was an article in regards to burnt CDs not lasting very long, I believe it was about 2 years.
Having lost most of my MP3s, I realized the best (that I rated) were archived on the MP3 CDs I made up for my car. The remaining rarities from yesteryear are on burnt compilations. I'm going to be re-ripping those in my album form to make sure I have backups of those as well.
So a little thinking and media making never hurt anyone -- back dat azz up.

A friend sent me a worthwhile FWD:: Abbott & Costello Meet Bill Gates
Incredible new VW concept car.
Cute little spaceship proposals, NASA's going with the K.I.S.S. method.
iRate - Legal MP3 downloading utility, finding the best legal MP3s is much like attending a local show instead of a major concert. You may have to sit through some crap, but there's bound to be some good stuff.
