Windows 10 Version.

It has been a couple years for 10 so far, and I have apparently fallen out of practice with 10 due to using 7 at work… still  >_<  It took me far too long to figure this out this evening so here’s a reminder!

Any Explorer window will do for this:

  1. Click Search Tools / Search Tab at the top
  2. Choose This PC as your search scope
  3. Choose Date Modified, continue and choose Today specifically
  4. Save this into your favorites by clicking on the words “Search Results in this PC” and dragging them to File Explorer until you see “Pin to File Explorer”
  5. Now modify the text in the upper right from datemodified:today
and change it to datecreated:today from followed by Enter to update the window
  6. Save this into your favorites by clicking on the words “Search Results in this PC” and dragging them to File Explorer until you see “Pin to File Explorer”
  7. Now when you right click on File Explorer you’ll have them in your Pinned items! Feel free to right click and rename or drag to the Quick / Pinned items on the sidebar
