>iTunes has gone country. Jedd Hughes… I kinda like it. Not the type of song you can acknowledge positively in public. If it was on you might not say anything… simply letting it slide by in the background. I’m in a music mode this evening. I found a few more CDs I thought I had lost, they were in my CD binder of all places. I’m adding them to the iMac. I’ve rated every song I’ve put on this thing (iMac, present… most used for terminal goodness) and need more music! It only plays the 4-Star, 5-star or Unrated songs…

>A burst of summer, a last hurrah. It’s damn hot. I’ll take it though, glad to see another little reminder before we all slink back into the cold. For a few mornings it was certainly fall outside. I even brought a jacket with me one morning. The end of classes are coming up, then I’ll need to find a job to support myself with all my newfound knowledge. Unfortunately there really isn’t much available, and even less if there’s no certifications. Things are going OK with the business, especially for just starting out. I finally have an image, have some…

>URG, many tribulations. New site. It’s the offical launch of the new business, and it even matches the business cards! A theme is very important, and the theme here is quality craftsmanship, a promise set in stone. I will be more permanant then most are used to in the computer business because I build it right. These systems are built to last 2 to 3 years and give many hours of enjoyment in the meanwhile, all the while maintaining upgradability.

>Pretty much sums up the tone right now: Wallflowers – Josephine I’m trying to sleep. What’s a man without his vices? Free.

>Got a camping trip planned for next weekend. Should be a lot of fun, we’re borrowing my brother’s kayaks as thats the only way to get to the camp site(s). Nothing more relaxing then a weekend in the VT wilderness =] I need it, I need to get away from this hectic, crap-filled city, if only for a weekend. There’s something about this area, anyone raised in this city has a certain vibe. The sense of humanity is there, but only in phantom form. They’ll do anything to survive, and it’s every man for himself. My trip to VT 2…

>Lot of interesting developments as of late, I could go into writing books from these experiences… this is good stuff. So have some nice exhibits, privately posted info right now, but send me an email or call me and I’ll point you to the yet to be unveiled URL =]

>I finally got my Doom3, legitimately. I’ve been playing a bit of deathmatch. It’s somewhat interesting, the tournament mode is where it’s at — only two people play at a time, others queue up and play the winner. The server responds well, and you get to rest inbetween matches while seeing how well the other people play. It’s such a detailed game, just watching the people pull out their guns, sneak around corners, and set up traps with the shadows is quite entertaining. When I went to my Dad’s to pick up “my birthday present” it was quite the experience…

>Oh man. I really hoped this would work out well, all it did was sketch me out. I had a meeting with the guy who called me about the apt. “My father works at STCC” the only place I had posted, sounds good. However, none of his info matched up. Names, addresses, all over the place – 4 different residences between Springfield and W.Springfield, from phone numbers to addresses he gave me, no one source matches with another. To top it off the contact nbr he gave is right at the end of Anthony Rivera’s old street. To refresh your…

>Worried about downloading using P2P yet? PeerGuardian says you don’t have to. 100% accuracy, 0% CPU usage, and blocking of ALL protocols at the kernel level.

>I just got back from VT. It was a good time. I stayed with my Mom and got to see the nieces and nephews, and sister. and went kayaking on Saturday with my brother down the Lamoile River in Fairfax VT. It was about a 4 mile stretch, and the river was high. It was a great time. =] We stopped by the church in Fletcher, climbed to the top inside and wound the church clock. A masterful piece of machinery – it was probably from the 1800s and had a separate windup for the clock and for the chime.…

>We got to NH about 9 or so, and got where we were going – NH State Forest, about 10:30. By 11 my tent was set up and I was relaxing by the fire. We woke early, made some eggs, bacon, various other snacks for breakfast, and headed off to go hiking up Mt Sugarloaf. We decided we’d bring some beers and meat to cook, along with the stove, and a few packs worth of supplies. Justin, Aaron and I were heading the pack, we carried a lot of the stuff to start, so we could pass it back later…

>Windows XP SP2 (Network Install Package) Run at the command prompt with sp2-yaddayadda.exe -x to extract to directories. This will allow you to install over a network to multiple machines, or simply get past a lot of gobbledygoop associated with the windows update (if you’re using an invalid key, for example). So download and enjoy! (thanks to Scott for the link)

>Rent situation getting more convoluted. I have 2 messages saved from house mate. 1 right after it happened “I’ll get that money to you, it’s not fair to you” 1 today after I suggested “just give me $150, add that to the security deposit and we’ll call it even to the end of the month.” Her msg was “I don’t think it’s fair that I should have to pay that $150, $300 in theory (combination of the security plus the 150) twice.” What bothered me was that: – she agreed to my face, then called me a little while later…

>Oh man am I pumped up right now. I’m ready to go off on someone. I’m hoping this doesn’t turn out how I think it’s going to… I can only hope for the best. I’m guessing it goes either: a) the rent money which allison said she left for me is not there because she is lying b) the rent money which allison said she left for me is not there because her friend gutter took it. c) she’s moving out, so I’m all the more suspicious-er. …and why would her friend call me last night looking to find someone…

>Remember that link I posted a few days ago with Andre Agasi and the Thunderbirds nemesis as being one and the same? I hit the site by acceident, clicking through stuff… and found that page by accident while searching for images on Google. Well I went to the main site from that link and found this: UV Bodyart Very cool stuff, just not quite sure about the inserted text here and there… check it out.

>I just built a new computer: 2.4ghz P4 512k cache 400mhz bus, 8X AGP 256mb DDR Ram @ 400mhz DVD+/-R Combo (CDRW) Drive Onboard Ethernet/Sound 40 Gig HD I put in a mediochre video card, far less then it deserves… but all in all I’m able to sell it for $400 A little bit more money could result in a gigabit ethernet card, a high quality sound card, or a rockin’ 3D card for games or 3D modeling, and maybe even some more memory. This is a perfect computer for back to school, and in fact that’s what I built…
